George Nelson Bubble Lamps


The first Bubble Lamp was designed by George Nelson, one of the founders of American Modernism, in 1947, and produced by Herman Miller starting in the early 1950's, only to end production in 1979. 30 years later, his Bubble Lamps are reproduced to the original specifications using the original Howard Miller tooling by Modernica. The Bubble Lamp is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Materials: plastic polymer /steel frame.
